How to Replace the Heating Element – Top Jet Multi

💡 Overview

The Top Jet Multi Temperature Shower offers wide coverage, preset temperature modes, and modern styling. Like all electric showers, its heating element can wear out over time due to water quality or usage. Replacing it is simple if you follow the correct steps — ensuring your shower continues to deliver instant, safe, and efficient hot water.

🧰 What You’ll Need

  • Genuine Lorenzetti Top Jet Multi heating element

  • Insulated screwdriver

  • Rubber gloves

  • Dry cloth or towel

  • Access to DB board and water tap

✅ Step-by-Step Replacement Guide

1. Switch Off Power at the DB Board

  • Cut electricity to the shower by turning off the relevant breaker.

  • Confirm no power is reaching the unit before proceeding.

2. Open the Front Cover

  • Use an insulated screwdriver to remove the screws on the front panel.

  • Gently lift the cover off to access the internal components.

3. Remove the Old Heating Element

  • Locate the cylindrical heating element inside the center of the unit.

  • Unclip or unscrew the terminals (some versions use cartridge-style connectors).

  • Carefully detach the wires and remove the old element.

4. Install the New Heating Element

  • Insert the new Lorenzetti element in the same orientation.

  • Reconnect terminal wires securely.

  • Lock the element in place using clips or screws.

5. Run Water Through the Unit

🚨 IMPORTANT STEP:

  • Turn on the shower tap and let water flow through the unit for 30–60 seconds.

  • This fills the heating chamber and prevents the new element from dry firing and burning out.

6. Reassemble the Shower

  • Replace the cover and reinsert screws evenly. Tighten securely, but do not overtighten to avoid cracking the casing.

7. Restore Power and Test

  • Turn the breaker back on.

  • Open the shower to test temperature response and confirm proper operation.

🛠️ Use Only Genuine Lorenzetti Parts

Only certified Lorenzetti heating elements should be used for the Top Jet Multi. This ensures safety, full compatibility, and long-term durability.
